UNFIVCC follows a structured recovery and compensation process designed to ensure that all applications are reviewed fairly and responsibly.

The process generally includes:

1. Claim Submission
Victims submit a compensation application together with relevant supporting documentation, including evidence of financial loss and details of the circumstances surrounding the claim.

2. Verification & Assessment
UNFIVCC reviews submitted information to verify eligibility, assess the validity of claims, and determine the extent of qualifying losses.

3. Investigation & Review
Where necessary, additional reviews may be conducted in cooperation with relevant authorities, financial institutions, or partner organizations.

4. Compensation Decision
Approved claims are assessed according to established compensation principles and available Fund resources.

5. Payment & Follow-Up
Eligible victims receive compensation according to approved decisions and applicable procedures.
